My favorite style of home, is the one that is cared for. And not just cared for but loved on. And lived in. And even better, the ones that match the personality of the caretaker, the lover, the home-steward. This is that house! Built in 1942 and standing tall and proud of its one thousand and forty four feet. Every one of them counts and it knows it. And when it comes to avenues properties, the extra feet in a deep attached garage goes along way too. But perhaps most importantly, this house says welcome from the front door with a yard that waits for you to come home. Trees and lights and spots to sit before you ever even open the door. Inside is cozy and spacious and ready for cooking, hanging and reading. 3 bedrooms (the primary with one of the baths is ensuite), and 2 full bathrooms make for a full life inside while close to everything you need to expand outside. Memory Grove, City Creek Canyon, trails, coffee shops and downtown are all right here. If a simple life with plenty to do while living in a house that doesn't pressure you to do anything or be anyone other than who you are, sounds nice, well, come be nice to this house, and if history has anything to teach us, this house and what is beyond it, will be nice right back to you. Of note when you visit are, double pane windows throughout, spacious laundry room, newer roof, automatic sprinklers, and a new mini split heating/cooling system. And fruit trees! Talk about an insurance policy for uncertain times. Basically, we love this little house. Proud and beautiful to be in the Avenues crew. But happy to be different, and standing up for that difference. In all of us. Welcome home. This one really, really means it.
